Evochron Legacy is an amazing feat. It's a space sim on the scale of X4 or Star Citizen that clocks in at 800Megabytes. It looks damn good given the developer got it down to that size.

Also another solo dev effort - showing up the likes CIG and Bethesda. A dev who really deserves your support - active on his game and forums helping people; much like the Void Destroyer dev as well.

It's a shame that companies like Cloud Imperium Games scam so many people out of 700m with nothing to show for it - whereas hardworking devs like for Evochron, they don't get a fraction of the success and recognition they deserve.

Support devs like this instead of spending more money on Star Citizen jpgs. See how its really done.

I streamed Star Trek: Resurgence and had the live chat make the diakogue and action choices...a really cool experience! And a really solid game!

Evochron Legacy is a game I bought for by phone for $2 USD. I used the controller phone attachment and it worked fine.
I did not try the PC version but it is similar to Elite where the player need to find out what they want to do.

Planet Crafter looks like a relaxing game for those of us that don't like getting attacked from behind every five minutes. Maybe not all that ambitious, but maybe just my speed.

I've recently been playing Avorion, which I bought in the steam sale. Wow, Looks quirky (as in the blocky minecraft style) but once you get passed that, the game is a great space sim along the lines of X4 (but you don't get out of the ship and walk around; you're in a ship and thats it).

Got about 20hrs into it, Definately reccomend it 😀

We need a space survival game similar to the old Hellion game, with orbital Newtonian physics.

The chapter title of the last game says "Evron Legacy" but it's "Evochron Legacy"

Does anyone ever say, "Oh goody, I love a game with Quick-Time-Events!". Surely there must be people that like that style of gameplay, or they wouldn't keep making games with QTEs, right..

Take a trip back to Empyrion Galactic Survival. That dude is still updating and moving forward.

So torn on The Planet Crafter. Very Subnautica-like, but with even less story. I found it incredibly grind-y and wound up having to throw mods at it or quit outright. No spoilers, but the 'ending' did actually cause me to delete it.

I played STO since open Beta. Let me tell you about end game. You need a good ship. The game will provide a generic vessel of the equivalent level as you reach the level cap (10 level increments per ship) but you will not care for that ship. It will not take advantage of your class like a proper - store bought - ship will. I paid into this game when the cap was level 50 and spent on all ships for my classes on both Federation and Klingon sides. This came to a couple hundred dollars - I was okay since it was the end game - I thought. Once the revenue slowed - they increased the cap making ALL those purchases antiquated in one patch. I will not go back.

Starstruck Vagabond ate 40 hours of my life in the first two weeks of its release. I enjoyed every minute of it.

I think Starstruck Vagabond, not Vagabound.

recently stumbled across something called Archean. Looks interesting.Somewhat Space Engineer-y but with real orbital mechacics and space movement and stuff. and simulating whole planets. Have it in my wishlist now. We'll see. Reviews are promising but needs an RTX because it uses only Raytracing for lighting and stuff.

Also some nice actioned up and streamlined NMS clone from Ubisoft for 5$. Weirdly named Starlink but nothing to do with The Musk.
