AOT would be the last long. The ending is pretty much hateful because it "bad". But look, the more mature you are, the more you realize its the most sense ending. And i like how Eren said that the conflict between human would never end, but at least he could guarantee his remaining friends life long happy life and didnt suffer anymore. The last scenes when Mikasa died, and the world has advanced greatly, but yet the human conflict/war had started again. The never ending cycle that would haunt human till the judgement day. Just like our real life!!!
Thats why this kind of story is gonna be long last enough because it represent our culture of humanity, because it reminder for our culture of humanity, and it because how our culture of humanity just spinning around its cycle. The cycle that never gonna be end till the doomsday!
