The Semiconductor Arm-Race is Heating Up Between China and the US!

Since the US put sanctions against China concerning the import of cutting-edge chips, Chinese semiconductor companies struggled to compete with the rest of the world. However, the sanctions were only targeted high-end chips and companies from mainland China still making profits by making low-end, legacy chips. In this video I’ve briefly explored the nuances and implications of semiconductor war raging between the US and China.

With Chinese made chip at affordable price for the mass, the whole world will be benefiting from it. I certainly couldn't afford those $5000.00 usd old 500 kilobytes IBM compatible Compag desktops or those $3000.00 usd Motorola cellphone that weight about 2 lbs. Nowadays, no one can imagine any actively enrolled college student without a tablet and a smart phone. That's the true benefits of made in China.

US tech companies may have advanced high-end product to themselves but they actually kicking own goal. China will develop its own but will take years. Nothing is impossible for the Chinese. What happens to Chinese space exploration now! The more you restrict ban blacklist sanction, morecountries will take of ways to circumvent it.

Give it a few more years. China will be dominate in the chip industries even though they might not have the 5nm. All they have to do is mass produce the 7 nm chip and not buy any chips from outside. 7nm is good enough for their flagship phones. Then they can say bye bye to the rest of the chip industries 😁.

China can tax huawei and other mobile phone companies... but in laptop and pc they fail as they dont have proper GPU CPU like x86 and x64
