If you put your nails in a cup of salt water for 10-15 minutes, it peels off very fast.

Hi Meliney! I just wanted to tell you (even though I'm sure you've heard it over and over again), I adore your nail channel as well as the channel from your daily life! Your tutorials are great and have given my lots of inspiration on my own nails. In regards to getting nail polish off of your nails, I had one other way that could be used and that is if you have a nail file handy you can scrap the polish off that way (I know it is harmful to your nail bed) but it does work if you are in a pinch! But I agree with you to try and use removers.

You can also paint your nails with Elmer's glue as a base coat and your polish will peel off in one piece. Or buy OPI's peel off Basecoat. It's good for any type of polish, even glitter

Thanks for showing how to remove glittered nail polish!  I've tried to removed this type before without success but you made it look so easy and I'm glad to know I can use aluminum foil for the process.

A nice powerful belt sander will remove any paint.And the nails too.

Thankyou much for the glitter one! I don't usually use it but I've found Ulta3's new colours are fabulous & the glitters are really good. I know I've used glitter nail polish before but I don't remember having the problem of getting it off .. Anyway I appreciate it because ulta3 also has a "speckle" in black and white called "meet the press" and it is a pain in the but to get off. I wanted to wear the speckle a lot but when I saw how hard it was to get off I was put off. Not anymore :)) cheers! I am really enjoying you & your channel btw ;) Thanks again :))

in some cases I've used a nail file and VERY gently filed it off, BUT this can be damaging in some cases for the nail enamel and surface but it does work so it's very important that you file it super gently! I've found that this method works for mostly all nail polishes like gel and normal polish but I'm not too sure about glitter.

The number 1 golden rule I swear by is wash you nails with soap & water immediately after using acetone on your nails, if you dont they will become brittle over time and break/peel x.
