This is the biggest issue with usb c cables right now. There are so many different kinds of usb c cables with different capabilities, and so average consumers and even some tech people won't realize that its the cable that is limiting charge speeds, transfer speeds etc...

MY GD am I the only one who reads anything anymore? What about the cable?!?!?! You must use a 5 Amp cable per Samsung to charge at full 45W (a cable that Samsung does NOT include with the phone --- they give an even cheaper 3A cable, that max charges at 25W!!!!) So unless this guy is using the proper cable the results are meaningless. Samsung majorly failed doing this cheap cable business!!!! Confusing likely 99.5% of users.

Without using a USB meter (which can be had for $20 for a cheap one, $45 for a Fnirsi FNB58 or $100 for Chargerlabs KMC series (003?).

So without showing us voltage and amperage you're not getting the full story. I would bet you're not using the right cable.

45 watt isnt fast, Chinese prpdicts have 67 and 120 watt chargers in the box

The reason why you'd want to get it is if you had let's say 25% battery and only 15 minutes to charge You would get about ~8-10% more charge with the 45 watt versus the 25w but still pretty similar but this is the reason some people want it. It also makes a bigger difference if you're actually using your phone while charging at a low percentage the 45w does a much better job.

Hi I also faced this situation with my 25 watt charger but there is a setting in the battery section known as fast charging can you turn on that check again for me when it was enabled the charging time got less and my phone got charged faster BTW if you know this sorry I have an s20fe they gave 15watt brick with it and i bought the 25 watt brick now the charging speed is littleeee quicker than usual

As somebody else said you have to use the 45 watt plus cable. If the power brick does not sense that. It will not charge at 45 watts. And it does this for safety. When you compare that regular cable to the one that comes with the 45 watt super fast charger there is a hefty difference. Super fast charger one is a lot thicker and made a lot better and you can feel it. The cable that is compatible with it will also say either "5.0A +" or it will say "super fast charging 2.0" on the cable ends

It take 58 minutes will reach 100%

That's weird, for the first 50% or so on my fold 3 my 45 watt charger is almost twice as fast.

The white Samsung type-c to type-c cable is a bit thicker, so it supports faster charging and you will note the difference.

But even if that is actually the case, I still think the difference is probably not big enough to justify the cost of the 45W. charger.

Wrong cable used. 45w should show super fast charging 2.0. else it's just 25w😅
