I understand that the DCT is a lot faster and all, but a manual would be nice. However, if you really want the ultimate purist Shelby, Ford already made that with the GT350R or the 2014 GT500. This one is the one breaking the records with the supercharger and the DCT and the tech. Does it make it any less awesome? No.

In January Barrett Jackson auctioned a 2020 GT 500 off. It was vin 001. What I don't understand is that they say this car is not produced yet and the HP is still not sure... If they built it for Barrett Jackson don't we know the specs already??

Saw the new GT 500 in Anaheim this weekend and the Car is Gorgeous ! EVERY BODY WAS DROOLING ! $67, 000 for the base 500 is totally doable ! Ford performance blue was disappointing in person though..I need to see Red Hot Metallic Tinted Clearcoat in the sun light next..( No Lightning Blue available )..

Light supercar maybe. Over 4, 000 pounds is kinda light. It's deff a track car. It probably will not be killing any demons though lol.

It will be the king of the road when they bring out a 1000hp GT500KR version.

I love the looks of the car. I feel the lack of any manual transmission option is a big mistake. That's one of the many things that made the GT350 such a great car. A little dial and paddle shifters will never give the same driving experience as a clutch pedal and manual shifter does. I personally could care less how many milliseconds the DCT shifts in. I could care less what other cars have a dct. This is a GT500! It should have the option of a manual transmission. Ford to hung up on trying to show off how great their tech is. When sometimes simplicity is all you need, and so much better..

Zo6 still takes it on the track. And 0-60 in 2.95. Better suspension and weight is 3524. 500 pounds less.

Wells nice video ! This car is not a muscle car is a sport car and venom doesn't kill demons but it will good to see this car one on one with the red eye for sure
