Did you not know that the first book of the New Testament clearly tells how Jesus is a descendant of David? ... but the Jews lost the records of all lineage of the tribes of Israel with the destruction of the temple back in 70 ad... so how can you say that the Messiah will be a decendant of David when no one can prove who they are decended from? But Jesus fulfilled that prophecy over 2000 years ago, along with many, many others.
