Fewer young adults in the U.S. are leaving the nest or they’re moving back in. According to a Pew Research poll, last year, more than half of Americans ages 18 to 29 reported living with their parents. That’s the highest percentage since the Great Depression. Soledad O’Brien talks with Jeffrey Passel, a senior demographer at Pew Research Center.

We have degrees but can't find jobs that pay enough to afford rent. Living with our parents is the only reason it would make sense to work a job for 15/hr

My parents bought their house in the early 2000's for £27, 000. Only one of my parents were working. Now to buy a house on that same street I'd need £120, 000 - £130, 000. I have 2 jobs and I'm self employed and can only afford a 1 bedroom flat to rent. That's the issue right there. I understand inflation, decreased interest rates etc, but this is just a crappy situation to live in.

I don't think anyone will be moving on their own now unless they live in a car or a tent.

(FACTS OVA FEELINGS). Parents and Adults in hOUR Society Found a way to Preserve their own Self-concept and that was though feeding themselves az well az eu with the belief it's for ur own good Wee r fed this life from dey one even those of us who grow up in the most loving household r fed this Lie. Wee make hOUR children sit through hrs of lessons in the prison-like environment wee call school and tell them it's for their own good Wee discipline them in ways that r Painful to their Minds and Bodies and tell them it's for their own good

It is a different world now. It is not like it was in the 80s and 90s. Back then it was the norm to move out. Now, there are many millennials living with their parents.
