Love that guy at 2:38:50 who just picks up his backpack and walks out. "Well, spacecraft sent to Mars, time for lunch break now."

It's amazing that two centuries ago, a sea voyage from England to Australia could take 6 months. This probe will arrive at Mars in 7 months. 😛

I was hoping for a camera view at the moment of spacecraft separation, they had one for MSL.

It's going to be a long 7 months journey to the Jezero crater on Mars, which once potentially had water. Lots of water. All the best to NASA, Perseverance and Ingenuity!

That was a cool maneuver by waiting for the rocket to pass apoapsis and gain some velocity to aid acceleration

When someone says release, is there still at that point an option of not releasing the rocket? 🚀

In 7 months time we think: " Ohh yeah, that´s in late july 2020 ULA launched a 10 years time we think: " When did Nasa sent that oldfashioned Rover to Mars?" while we build a colony on Mars and having a Marsbar just opened.
But I have to am not such a great an of an animation. I quite here.
