What gets me right in the soul, sometimes even more than his playing, is just how HAPPY Hank Marvin always looks when he's up there doing his thing. And I think of how awesome it would be to be doing what you absolutely love, for 50+ years, and be insanely good at it. In corporate life, the phrase "living the dream" has become kind of a dark joke in response to "How are you doing?" This, to me, is TRULY living the dream. And making the world a cooler place to live, in the process.

40 years after and Hank still has cleanest sound in town.

Yeah you can't beat that "Hank" groove. Used to love opening our live shows with this track. My all time favourite

These guys were gods of the guitar when I was a kid. The Ventures were another band that I idolized. Now we have guys like Mike Dawes, Justin Johnson and others deserving mention. I wonder what the next 50 years or so will bring.

Now you know where Cream came from. This song, and others by the Shadows were a major influence on Clapton
