The Shadows have some really great songs, and I’ve been playing them on my guitar. “Apache”, “Wonderful Land”, “Atlantis”, “Theme for Young Lovers”, “The Rise and Fall of Flingel Bunt”, and “The Theme from The Deer Hunter” are my most favorites.

I love the Shadows deeply, but on a question of style, why as late as 1967 was Bruce Welsh sporting a 1963 vintage Beatle haircut that looks as if it's been glued down on his head. Hank on the other hand looks cool, as always.

The dancers are just ice cream on the berry pie, because a song with this much rhythm
should have ecstatic dance companions. mum 60 is 1/2 right.
