Now 10 years old, the Samsung Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge were major redesigns and absolutely gorgeous devices - but also one of Samsung's most controversial phones ever, removing major features that were on the Galaxy S5. How does the S6 hold up in 2025, and did it deserve the hate?

The Samsung Galaxy S6 and S6 edge are officially 10 years old. The S6 was actually my first ever phone. I got it in 2016 or 2017. After that was the S7 edge in 2019, and the S22 Ultra in 2022, which I am still using to this day.

I really like the old design of the S6/7 Edge. They really nailed it. It looks way nicer than S23 or S25 series

I remember the s6 so well. I had a gold s6 edge plus, and it was my first flagship phone. It was such a beautiful phone. I still miss it, honestly 😅

The S6 Edge was the phone that finally got me to switch from iPhone to android, which was when the S7 was already out. Never went back since, had the S8+, S9+, NOTE 9, S9+ AGAIN, S20+, Z FLIP 3, & now Z FLIP 6. And an awful Huawei P SMART for a few months between the S6 EDGE & the S8+

I just bought a brand new s7 edge for my 8yo niece. It works perfect for kids games and youtube kids.

The rage customers cause to make samsung reverse their action and being the SD card back was wild. We could have done the same to bring back old features today smh
