Samsung Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge review

Samsung's newest Android phones are the best they've ever made. And probably the best Android phones out today, period.

Your reviews are so two sided it's weird.
I understand that you want to compare this phone to its main competitors, however is it possible for you to complete this in a more uniform manner? 

You talk about the specs of the camera and show some comparison shots before throwing in a sentence saying it's worse than the iphone. How? & Why?

Yes apple creates good products, however to be a good reviewer you need to go in with a neutral viewpoint and make a comparison verdict at the end.
I feel like your mobile phone reviews are always started from a bias standpoint 'This phone is worse than its competitors, lets show the audience why'
When in reality it should be:
'Lets see what this phone has to offer, and then make an constructed argument based off facts at the end of the review'

If you feel the need to say that the iphone is better, say it! But make sure its clear that it is all about your personal opinion. At the end of the day a good reviewer wants to make sure that the product that the customer chooses is one that will make them happy!

Everywhere I see something about the new galaxy s6 I see how Samsung "copied" the iPhone. Do some research first, Samsung helped designed the look the everyone is assuming they "copied". Samsung makes the processing chips for the iPhone and also is responsible for some of the iPhones design, so technically it's finally using what it's designed, and of you want to be technical, iPhone copied HTC because HTC came out with the first aluminum phone. Face it everybody copies everybody.

I am disliking this video not because i hate the phone but i am just now thoroughly fed up with the verge reviews. They have become a running joke now CLEARLY the s6 camera was better, why they lying for!!??, I dont even get what their channel is about anymore. Would be surprised if their not losing viewers and respect by others too

This is more like a general opinionated video presentation rather than a review. I like how Joshua Topolsky reviewed The Samsung Galaxy Nexus, 4 years ago where I got hooked, started following The Verge since. Made me bought one in fact... He's very detailed with the specs and explained it very well in a way most people could understand while keeping it light and casual. I think that's how he helped people decide to buy or not to buy that phone because of informed decision, while this s6/s6 edge "review" rather, creates exchange of opinions.

Dear Verge, respect your readers. This is not a review. This is a bunch of lie. I have Iphone 6+ and I also tested S6 ee camera and The s6 camera is much better. Not only me, but almost all tech reviewers said something. I can't wait Mkbhd review.

LOL, not sure what kind of world you are living in, but the Note 4 completely destroyed the iPhone 6 Plus in a blind camera test and i REALLY doubt that the S6 camera is any worser than the Note 4 camera.



And CNET also did a camera test between the Note 4 and the iPhone 6 Plus where it's very obvious that the iPhone 6 Plus can't compete at all with the Note 4 as the iPhone 6 Plus lacks tons of details in the pictures.


Now, look at the sign on the roof there. Do you see the text there?

It's proven times after times that the iPhone 6 Plus does have an alright camera that does an alright job at taking pictures for social media. But it can't compete with the best phones out on the market today like the Note 4 and the Galaxy S6 that soon will be out in the market when it comes to really good quality and detailed pictures.
