I have a collection of porcelain dolls. Most of them were given to me by my grandmother, as she collected them as well and saw me taking an interest in it. Some of them I bought myself. Some my family gifted to me on my birthday. I used to go to flea markets (don't know if that's the right term) and see some, and be like "Oh my god, I absolutely need to get this one!"... And now I have 2 big drawers filled with dolls, and I can't even put them on display since my room is too small for that luxury.
I also have a stamp collection, which I don't remember where I left it, and a "fèves" collection (don't know how to translate that apart from "bean", except it's made of ceramic) which I have no idea how to put on display. But now that I see that people do life-long collections, it makes me want to keep all that and collect all throughout life and put them on display as soon as I have the space 😅

My favorite collection and the most curious one is the one of dissected insects since it is very rare and they can better study the insect to know what diseases they transmit and much more.
