What is the most ruined game you own?

The most ruined game I used to own was GTA 4 for the PS3. I would say worked, but a better word for it would be ‘function.’ As in, it could function like a game by Bethesda. The hud would disappear quickly after loading in the game, the models would seizure, at some point Nico would disappear and I couldn’t move. It’s like the game was possessed by some entity in a creepypasta.
I wish I could have recorded it, but it was before I got my hands on a phone that could save video.

My Mario Kart Wii and Wii Sports Resort discs are in similar conditions, heavily scratched up, but, if I stick those discs in my Wii, it reads them just fine. 😁

My very first game I still have is Worms Forts for PC. That was how I got introduced to the series and it also still works just fine, huh

For me, it's between Resident Evil 3 or Spyro 3 on ps1. My siblings and I played the Hell out of those games, and they still somehow work after 20 years lol

I had a sonic game for the PS2 that was really bad, sometimes it worked and sometimes crashed mid-game, that until my PS2 couldn't read it anymore

Mario Party 8. the disc is super scratched but somehow works most of the time

I do have midnight club dub remix, it's really scratchy but it cannot read on the ps2

a lot of my old OG xbox games are quite scratched due to poor storage and the OG xbox being known to sometimes scratch discs when they are being read. they have issues running on the OG xbox (which itself also has a failing hard drive; games crash upon trying to load save data), but they run fine on the 360

i used to have super Mario sunshine it was beat to hell, i would throw the disc when i was mad at it, but sadly as long as it lived the game recently stopped working out of the blue and corrupted my game cube save files i blame Mario for my problems now

The most ruined game that I own but still works (kinda) is probably the original Startopia. I say kinda because one of the music tracks, specifically "xxxtech" causes the game to close with no error. I got around this issue by going into a text document that lists the music tracks and by simply removing the line containing that particular track, the game no longer crashes.
Now I no longer have to deal with that because hooray for digital rereleases!

Both my GT4 discs are like 50% ruined
got the first in 2012, and second from 2019
the first can run the intro, menu and stuffs but couldn't load up the race meanwhile the second disc (which that time are new), could load up the race but couldn't get it started

Probably a cart of SMB3 it does nothing but constantly glitch and has a busted case.

I can tell you that I ruined my Wii Sports & Wii Sports Resort dual-game disc. Doesn't even work anymore

Probably in terms of technically still working fully either Breath of Fire 3 or 4 or Legend of Dragoon all completely stop working at times but open the Playstation and close it again works well enough completely broken FF12 the disk is snapped in half...
