When I made this video only about 10 people knew my AC didn't work, now over 18, 000 do. Thank you all for spreading the word.

Good job!. Back in the early 90's I did kinda the same thing with a Coleman cooler in my tent in Moab Utah. I got tired of the 115deg heat at night and essentially made the same thing. I used water drenched Sodium Polyacrylate instead of Ice. I filled up zip-lock freezer bags of the stuff and had 7-8 of them in the cooler separated by cheap aluminum pans to act as baffles. The exhaust of the cooler drew from 1" above the bottom of the cooler. It would freeze you out if you had the fan on high. I ran it all off the Optima Battery in my Cj5. The Campground let me refreeze them during the day while we were out on the trails. I had $45 in all of it.

That's about a 1/400 th ton AC unit.
You probably already know but, for other people that don't, that's how they used to cool building before AC was invented, they still rate modern air conditions, by the number of tons of ice it would take per hour to make the amount of cooling it's putting out, so I figured you had about 5 lbs of ice.
It's a pretty good idea.
