MEET & EAT: Featuring Chef RV Manabat

Ang pinaka-inaabangan nating lahat! Para sa ikalawang episode ng ating #MeetAndEat , binisita natin mismo sa Laguna ang sikat na sikat na si Chef RV Manabat para matutunan ang kanyang #simpol version ng Buko Pie at may pa-bonus tour pa sa kanyang kusina! 🥰

Chef RV’s Buko Pie:

INGREDIENTS:

Set A (Crust):
3 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 cup salted butter
1/2 cup shortening
3 tablespoons sugar
1 teaspoon fine salt
1/2 cup iced cold water

Set B (Filling):
2000 grams (2 KG) young coconut meat
3/4 cup cornstarch
2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
1 1/2 cup white sugar
1/2 - 1 cup evaporated milk
1/2 cup coconut water
