Most people will only install a m.2 once per slot. Putting a screw in is preferable, just the same as screw on pc case sides.

I am building my first pc and I bought an ssd with a cooling stick. It is too large to put in this motherboard m2 slot. This might be a dumb question but can I just unscrew it and take it out of the cooking stick thing?

Mine doesn't have that and my like new Aegis RS 14th is missing M.2 screws and I don't know where to get them.

I have a similar mobo (X670E). Can I run one of my CPU Power cables from the bottom (PSU location) and have it go through / under that IO Port heat sink / shield thing (The one that says Msi on it)???

The cooler looks difficult to put Back in place, especially if there are memory chips on top of the SSD
