Our dog was beside himself with itching, I believe it was life-threatening. He couldn't sleep. Doc put him on Apoquel and after learning about debilitating side effects, tried a new veterinarian. They gave him a shot of Cytopoint. At the same time I started using your supplement, the Ultimate Advanced Formula, for my 80 pound dog (not overweight). That was last July and now near Christmas he has not needed another shot. He has been 100% back to normal since July: no frightening hair loss, no odor, no non-stop scratching, no "air scratching" with his hind legs in his sleep. The other changes I made are he went from a 40% raw diet to 90% raw. I'm so excited to give him his supplement in his food every day, I believe it has saved his life. He's now enjoying a very comfortable life at 85 in the new human years calculation. Thank you, sir!

Definitely helped with our dog's allergies, dark red knuckles with hair loss on his hinds changed to normal within a couple of months from his 1 month cycle on beta sitosterol! Thank you Dr. Jones!

Quercetin in caplet form works amazingly well.

I have weaned my dog off Apoquel which was causing a UTI. Now I see all the side effects from this drug but it was the only answer at the time. I just bought Betasitosterol Plant Sterols for my dog today. This one another holistic Vet recommended it. Dose recommended was 1 pill per dogs less than 50 lbs. I am going to add this to her dinner tonight. I pray it works!

Thank you so much for this. I'm in the US and am so frustrated from trying to find something comparable to New Roots on Amazon that I'm in tears. I have no clue about what in the world to order.

Watch your YouTube channel all the time and you have helped me with treating my fosters with health issues. In this video you give the dose but not how often. Please help - I have a Pitt who could benefit from this treatment.

Does this also help to eliminate the symptoms associated with food, allergies. As well as elimination diet. Thank you.

Do you know what we can buy that's not in Canda. Apparently NEW ROOTS can't ship it to the U.S. Even Amazon wont ship it to the U.S.

This is what I need for my Louie He was diagnosed with A Topic Dermatitis. I have to say though that your recipe for human food for dogs with allergies (turkey, brown rice, carrots and sunflower oil, eggshell powder) has improved his condition 99.9%. I also give him krill chews. He no longer has breakouts of the little black acne-like sores and no more hair loss! He was prescribed Apoquel but he's such a stinker because he picks it out of his food and spits it on the floor! 🙄🤦‍♀️ I think this supplement would be good for him.

I have been wondering recently what I could do to help my two 80lb babies with occasional itchiness. My male responds great to Apple Cider Vinegar. It seems to give him weeks of itch relief every time I sneak a bit into his diet. I can even pour it straight into a bowl and he laps it right up. My female is alot like me and really doesn't prefer the taste. I'm currently wondering if Sour Kraut would be helpful for them. I've done a bit of reading and learned enough to know that it would be best to make my own homemade. The store bought has excess salt that I believe is bad for their kidneys. So, I'm online shopping for a fermenting crock. Seems like a nice new skill to develop. I think of pets from my childhood who frequently ate family leftovers and not much kibble. I don't recall those pets having so many itchy days. It's painful to watch our babies suffer. I wonder what dogs would eat in a wild environment to help with itchiness. Or if their wild diet would help to solve much of the problem. It's tough to love something that can't speak and tell you what you are doing wrong.

Good evening Doc. I have been watching your videos for a period of time now and wanted to ask about supplementation for my one year old lab who had a TPLO surgery to his left hind leg about two months ago. He’s enjoying dog day care again with all of his friends . Thank you.

Just came across your videos and thank goodness I did! My 40 lb dog is on Apoquel and going to try your recommendations instead. Should I try the Bioactive Querecetin or the Beta-sitosterol first for his intense itching? Thank you for all your great videos. So appreciate all you educate us on with your knowledge as a DVM.

Our Plott Hound has contact grass allergy, would this allow us to stop the Apoquel?
