Aloha from Hawaii. Retired here 7 yrs ago from Colorado. I grew up in Wisconsin and had a river in my back yard and woods across the street. I use to put my 17' Aluminum canoe on my mom's country squire station wagon and have her drive me upstream like 10miles and takev2 days to float down. Lots of Pike, small mouth and rock bass. Mepps 3 red and wht was always what I had with some trusty daredevils. In the late 60s and early 70s it was a fun time. Your trips kinda bring back some memories but my canoe was alot more noisy but my dog kept me company.
Grew up joined USN after moved to Colorado and trout fishing in the mountains became my new love. Took my boys fishing every other weekend after run off.
I will be moving back to Colorado this soon . Ocean fishing is OK but nothing can beat river and high country lakes for wild trout. Good bless, keep safe! Keep the vids coming if possible 😊

They could all learn from you there Matt!
Especially when it comes to aiming their helmet or head strap cameras. You always have it pointed at the fish and not straight out off the end of their boat while the reeled in fish isn’t even on camera after they’ve boated them in.

What an idyllic little jaunt, terrific views, and of course tremendous fish in the clear river. Nice pinpoint casting and boat handling demonstration pays off handsomely. This channel has beautiful fishing trips. Thanks for all that. I'm thinking that many city-dwellers such as myself would find it a rare day indeed to be able to even find such a spot as this wonderful river. Hi, Idaho here. I absolutely love to fish and I really enjoy your channel. I get a choice of many body's of water over. Just no pike or muskies. I was born and raised until age 13 in upstate New York where I was taught and learned to love fishing. I throw back everything. It's the thrill of the hunt for. I've taken my children and grandkids fishing. It's funny though only one out of all of them showed any interest and he's only 6 😂.
