Worst thing I see is when my clients will sell their shares for LEAPS when the IV is high. I always recommend waiting until IV is low. Love the videos Brad.

Hey Brad. Good video. I am doing pmcc now and have several on now. When I buy mine I try to calculate everything as tho my short call gets called away, and I would need to exercise my leaps, now I don't plan on it, but I have some coming up in November that will be exercised on me unless something changes or I roll them. I sell monthly calls. When I buy my leaps, there is usually less than 1 extrinsic value. Usually .85 or there abouts. I was focusing more on the IV of the short call hoping to capture some of that iv crush. Am I looking at it wrong? I guess maybe your end goal might make a difference.

Great information as always Brad, one question.. what tool do you use to get charts with historical IV for a stock. I can't seem to find a good resource. Some of them are also premium resources but I'm curious to know what you are using.

What would be your recommendation in adding to a LEAP position? Buy at the same original strike price or at a specific delta, same expiration date or a new expiration date, close the original position and start from scratch? I have been doing mostly LEAPs and selling calls against them. I feel like it works for me vs. Put Credit Spreads and such. But when I see something take off lately, like a couple of the stocks I have long dated calls in, I would like to add to my position there but now sure what makes the most sense. TIA.
