2024 Elections | Results reflect will of the people: Ramaphosa

President Cyril Ramaphosa has appealed to political parties to recognise the results of the 2024 national and provincial elections as they reflect the will of the people.

Ramaphosa was speaking at the final election results ceremony held by the IEC in Midrand.

Cyril Ramaphosa remains President of South Africa until the next elected President is inaugurated. His cabinet and national executives are also still functional until the next president assumes office.

What this election has shown us is that the people have the freedom to vote for whoever they want without being bullied to vote for a specific party. This is the greatest country in the world I don't care what anyone says. Many people from other countries are on social media talking about "how they could vote for this and that". It's called freedom of choice. The only disgraceful act are those non-voters who cry and complain about this government but do nothing to make change.
