To quilt on applique or not? I don't think there's a perfect answer, I think it totally depends on what the quilt is going to be used for.

This quilt is for a child, so most likely it will be washed often and well loved. So, even though my client Teresa has fused the flowers down, I still quilted on every one of them. An outline, that's about a hair away from the outside of the applique pieces, and then because they are large applique pieces I also followed the prints and outlined on them. Yes, it's time consuming and this video is sped up, but the results are totally worth it. 🧡
