The heck with string lights, old school oil and/or kerosene mantle lanterns and citronella candles for the win! (Often hung up in the air) Pup up gazebo or rain/sun shields for wet/ hot weather w/privacy walls adds usable outdoor space. Outside shower hose conversion for dishes/showers (with privacy tent of course) for boon docking or non sewer hookup sites.

A trick to enjoying those fold up chairs is to buy a small seat pad..you can get them in the housewares dept, or sporting goods stores, etc. It gives more support to your bottom and backside.

GCI rocker and zero gravity chairs are a must.

I still haven’t found a good folding chair that’s very comfortable (until you get to $150+ range)!

We purchased a 3 burner Camp Chef stove from costco in June, in July we got the Camp Chef Pizza Oven. OMG, this is a game changer. You don't have to be confined to the kitchen in the TT any more. I take care of the outside, my wife preps and cooks on the inside. Indoors/outdoors, cold or hot, its greeeaat. The pizza oven doubles as an outdoor over, roasting lamb, potatoes, baking bread. We have done pizza, Paella, lamb rib roasts, biscuits, bread, vegetables and other things. The three burners lets us cook whatever we need under the canopy. Just

Hey Jared, tell us more about your Blackstone griddle. How you transport (in truck)? How has it worked for you? I have recently been watching all your vids. They are the best. Keep them coming.

Camp Chair: I was surprised, but I like the cheap director chairs at Wal-mart. They have a regular one and a large one. I got the large one and really enjoy it. They are the Ozark Trail brand. The regular is about $20 and the 'oversize' is $35. The reason I went with the oversized one is it is rated for 600 pounds. I figure that fives a huge capacity buffer so it should last a while. Even the regular one has a weight limit of 400 pounds.

Believe it or not, I like the good ol’ cheap directors chairs from Harbor Freight. Much lighter than zero grav chairs and pretty comfy especially if you have a cooler footstool or cheap Wally World chair to put your feet up. $35 but often on sale for less.

For a door mat, we went to a big box home improvement store and bought a 7 or 8 foot length of outdoor carpet. You roll it from the narrow side and it goes into your passthrough storage just fine. It is also 12-15' long depending on the width of the roll it came on.This way our entire under-awning area is carpeted.

I have a GCI Outdoor rocker for the campfire and GCI Outdoor folding chairs for when I have to walk across the campground to someone else's site. Both are very comfortable and durable. If I'm staying somewhere more than a couple days I set up my Clam Quick-Set Escape gazebo over the picnic table, and put my Table Gloves covers on the top and benches of the picnic table. If it's windy or cold, I put the walls on the gazebo and fire up the Mr. Heater and it's another room for playing games and eating meals (the wind doesn't blow things away and the squirrels and birds can't get at things, so I leave things out there on the table). Anti-gravity chairs are also very nice for a lazy afternoon. I will admit to being a glamper.

This video is tough to watch when it's snowing outside. I'm so jealous. Thanks for a great video!

As far as camp chairs, I find the ones like you showed, while they are light and fold up small, they aren't that comfortable to sit it, can be very difficult to get out of, and the cup holes don't work for larger cups. What I've found is the director's chair from Costco, Timber Ridge, is VERY comfortable and has a prop up side table that holds 30 oz cooler cups very well, and the newer ones even have a slot to hold your phone! And a camp MUST is their zero gravity recliner! It is VERY comfortable, and also has an attached side table. This thing is heaven after a long day!

In Canada we get lots of bugs.
Mosquitoes should be our national bird. And black flies will eat you alive. At least they have the decency to die when warm weather arrives. Bug tents are a must!! So are mosquito coils & other deterants. We just bought a Clam bug tent.
