Seriously take a mini vacation when you can. Let everyone know that you won't be available and plan something you can get excited about. It'll do wonders for your brain and you may even think of a good way to deal with whatevers been stressing you out.
Doesn't have to be big either. Take a long weekend and go camping.

I wish that were possible! In my job they make it so difficult to be off work ( mentally or physically sick) by making your life hell when you want to return. I work for the NHS by the way.
