I personally learn just by doing whatever i need in python, since python is python, the project's complexity doesnt really mstter and u can do as beginner if you can use google decently.

That bring said, this leads to not knowing very basic things that you haven't used yet, not that it's a huge problem since u can just learn it when you need it. Might be bad for a job interview but i dont code for a job and i don't plan to so idrc

Biggest mistake: Don't learn python as your first language, if you do that then everything else in your career you'll find hard to understand. It's best to start with C or Rust
