Thank you for such an informative review! I purchased one today for simply having Netflix, YouTube, social messaging.. I'm trying to offload the battery stress from my S21 Ultra as I want it to last longer than my S9+ did..

Much of what this guy is talking about in terms of performance expectations is SO esoteric that it's absurd! Maybe it's my age group, I'm 59, but I consider all these devices as "magic"! Things like so called viewing angle deficiencies. Why would this really matter!? This is a GREAT tablet that if you just embrace it with all that it does, what more do you need? Or more importantly, expect!?

I honestly prefer the wider aspect ratio on Android tablet than the 4:3 aspect ratio on iPad. It much better for watching videos, TV shows, and movies which is what i bought a tablet for, only really old videos/ TV shows is in 4:3 ratio. Imagine watching a movie on iPad, the movie will only takes up half the total screen space. Not very immersive.

This is the perfect aspect ratio for a tablet in my opinion. I think Apple has it mixed up. Phones don’t need the 16x9 aspect ratio. Tablets do. I don’t watch Netflix and YouTube on my phone. I watch it on my tablet. The 16x9 on plus sized phones like the iPhone 11 Pro Max and galaxy note lineup just doesn’t make sense. It doesn’t help with the main apps people use. A taller and narrower phone like the Sony phones are doing make more sense IF the software organically supports it so the content on the top 20% of the phone never needs to be touched, only mainly viewed.
