Welcome to our in-depth review of the Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 Lite 2024! In this video, we take a detailed look at the latest version of this popular tablet. Samsung has made a few changes, but do they really make a difference? Find out here.

Key Updates:
Packaging: New look
Charger: No longer included
Software: Android 14 out of the box
Processor: New and improved Exynos 1280
Hardware and Performance
The heart of the new S6 Lite is the Exynos 1280, supported by 4GB RAM and 64GB storage. Although the tablet is more powerful than its predecessors and the Galaxy Tab A9+, it still lags behind the Galaxy Tab S9 FE and other competitors like the Xiaomi Pad 6. This performance gap is evident in benchmarks such as Geekbench 5 and 3D Mark Wild Life.

Gaming Experiences
While Fortnite can be played somewhat smoothly only on low graphics settings, PUBG Mobile runs surprisingly well on HD. Star Wars Hunters performs well on medium graphics settings. However, for hardcore gamers, the S6 Lite 2024 is not recommended.

Display and Speakers
The 10.4-inch display remains unchanged and appears outdated compared to competing models that support 90Hz or 120Hz. Nevertheless, it delivers solid performance for everyday use. The speakers impress with good sound quality, even competing with the S9 FE.

S Pen: A Highlight
The S Pen remains a strong selling point. It offers almost the same functions as Samsung's premium tablets and is precise and responsive. Ideal for taking notes and creative work, the S Pen makes the S6 Lite 2024 an interesting choice for those seeking an affordable tablet with a stylus.

Design and Build Quality
The design is unchanged and now appears somewhat dated. However, the tablet scores with a high-quality metal case and practical ports such as a headphone jack and a MicroSD card slot.

Software: Android 14
With Android 14 and the stripped-down Samsung DeX mode, the tablet offers a solid software foundation. The support for the S Pen and regular updates make it future-proof.

Battery Life
With a battery life of 7.5 hours in the video streaming test, the S6 Lite 2024 delivers acceptable but not outstanding performance.

Conclusion
The Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 Lite 2024 is not suitable for everyone. Those looking for an affordable tablet with an excellent stylus might find it here, especially if the price drops. However, for everyone else, there are more powerful alternatives like the Galaxy Tab S9 FE. Watch our video to get all the details and our final impression!

This model will fall into same pricing of 2022 version few months after introduction, which means $260~$320 for 64GB, making it the lowest cost premium pen experience on the tablet market.

Idk what samsung is thinking. It used to be higher end tha. The A series now the lowest of the S6 lite is lower end than the A9+.... At this point just kill it off and give us an S9 lite already.... We need a premium tablet with a headphone jack....

An issue not mentioned is RAM, which is even worse than storage. 4GB on Android reloads like crazy...

Why can't they use cheap older chipsets like the snapdragon 870 that are well optimised?

No tablet under 350-450€ (excluding maybe the Xiaomi Pad 6 and Pad 5) is suitable for gaming imo, and should be avoided by any user who wants a tablet primarily for that.

Love s6 lite, netflix video resolution is UHD unlike to s9fe. I have apple mini 6, The battery only last Four hours I sold it and Got xiaomi redmi 6, liked xiaomi so. Switch to xiaomi pad 6, I was disappointed because.
When watching Netflix, I could only watch standard definition with xiaomi tab 6. So I sold my xiaomi tab 6 and got samsung s6 and a samsung a9, both cheaper than samsung s9 fe . Samsung s6 has a uhd video watching resolution, and a9 is like a kindle for reading books . Samsung s9 fe is 60 percent more expensive than s6

I can forgive all the had things this tablet has but the 4gb of ram in 2024 is outrageous.

Had the 2022. RAM's the weak link in this tab. It bottled neck with weaker processors so it's only going to be worse with this one. 8 gigs would have only cost a little more. But then the performance would have been stepping on the toes of the s9FE. My a9 Plus with 8 gigs runs smoother than the 22 s6 lite. Which is a huge shame because the s6 lite was my favorite form factor. Small light and premium feeling.

As a non-native speaker of English we would benefit more if you slowed down a bit when you talk, some of that valuable information is getting lost in the process. And just before the haters come out, this is not a criticism of your language skills I just think that your audience, because of your accent, would benefit more if you did slow down. No doubt some people will not have an issue with this. This is just my observation.
