The people who founded Aksum Kingdom were a mix of Semitic and Cushitic not just Semitic.
Edit: Semitic though does not designate a group as a Middle Eastern in Ethnicity to clarify Semitic is a language family which I know comes as a surprise to most people.

It was the 3rd most powerful empire At the time ! don’t forget they had gigantic war ships from which Europeans learned the design from . They traded with Europeans, Indians and Arabs using the sea . You can still unearth Gold items if you go to Ethiopia in Tigray . Because at that time the people where very rich and used gold for basic household items .

The Axumite kingdom was more dominated by the tigrigna speaking people of today and the first language to be adapted from ge'ez was tigrigna not amharic which is a very important detail that you missed or didn't look into it very well.

It was not just one of the first countries in africa to have christianity, it was the second country in the WORLD to make Christianity a state religion. Thats important.

U have said something that isnt true. The churches of Lalibela werent made by axum, but by zagwe, one of them which u showed in the video, bete giorgis was made during the 12th C.
