Homeserve is a joke. I get countless mailers from the city about signing up for sewer and water line insurance through Homeserve. I wonder what the city’s cut is of the pie?

Work done with pipe connections from our curb into the street was done by our borough water & Sewer with no cost to us.

Is this an "hoa"? Where the streets are privately owned? If not, I would be suing the city! Homeowners are not responsible for anything past their property line! Even less if the city enforces an "easement"....

The sad thing is as soon as you file a claim you are flagged and insurance companies can drop you. Other companies can look up any claims from previous insurance companies and deny you coverage. If you do find coverage it will be double the price or more.

They sent out a line insurance add on that you could sign up for 10 to 15 dollars a month i signed up then it acted like it didnt exist never charged but it seems suspect they know everthing is broken everywere

Isn’t that what property taxes are supposed to go towards? Streets? Why is she paying for anything beyond her property line?
