You like me that much? Okay. Well. Here's more me:

Lyrics:
When I wake up, well, I know I'm gonna be
I'm gonna be the one who wakes up next to you
When I go out, yeah, I know I'm gonna be
I'm gonna be the one who goes along with you
If I get drunk, well, I know I'm gonna be
I'm gonna be the one who gets drunk next to you
And if I haver, yeah, I know I'm gonna be
I'm gonna be the one who's haverin' to you

But I would walk five hundred miles
And I would walk five hundred more
Just to be the one who walked a thousand miles
To fall down at your door

When I'm workin', yes, I know I'm gonna be
I'm gonna be the one who's workin' hard for you
And when the money comes in for the work I do
I'll pass almost every penny on to you
When I come home (when I come home), oh, I know I'm gonna be
I'm gonna be the one who comes back home to you
And if I grow old, well, I know I'm gonna be
I'm gonna be the one who's growin' old with you

But I would walk five hundred miles
And I would walk five hundred more
Just to be the one who walked a thousand miles
To fall down at your door

Da-da da da (Da-da da da)
Da-da da da (Da-da da da)
Da-da dum diddy dum diddy dum diddy da da da
Da-da da da (Da-da da da)
Da-da da da (Da-da da da)
Da-da dum diddy dum diddy dum diddy da da da

When I'm lonely, well, I know I'm gonna be
I'm gonna be the one who's lonely without you
And when I'm dreamin', well, I know I'm gonna dream
I'm gonna dream about the time when I'm with you
When I go out (when I go out), well, I know I'm gonna be
I'm gonna be the one who goes along with you
And when I come home (when I come home), yes, I know I'm gonna be
I'm gonna be the one who comes back home with you
I'm gonna be the one who's comin' home with you

But I would walk five hundred miles
And I would walk five hundred more
Just to be the one who walked a thousand miles
To fall down at your door

Da-da da da (Da-da da da)
Da-da da da (Da-da da da)
Da-da dum diddy dum diddy dum diddy da da da
Da-da da da (Da-da da da)
Da-da da da (Da-da da da)
Da-da dum diddy dum diddy dum diddy da da da
Da-da da da (Da-da da da)
Da-da da da (Da-da da da)
Da-da dum diddy dum diddy dum diddy da da da
Da-da da da (Da-da da da)
Da-da da da (Da-da da da)
Da-da dum diddy dum diddy dum diddy da da da

And I would walk five hundred miles
And I would walk five hundred more
Just to be the one who walked a thousand miles
To fall down at your door

One of these gals is not too happy about the prospect of walking 1000 miles

That gave me a few minutes of pure joy. That is rare in this world. I thank you. Sincerely.

I've enjoyed all her videos. She's so extremely talented. However, I want to give kudos to her video editing ability as well. Every video she does must require 100 hours to put it all together. Well done, Miss Anne.

Lovely!
This reminded me of David Tennant's video dancing and singing to this song with the cast and crew of Doctor Who.
Anne, if you'\re remotely into Dr. Who, I'd absolutely love to hear your rendition of "The Long Song"!
Cheers!

I first heard this song in the movie, "Bennie and Joon" and have loved it ever since. I think this was my favorite rendition.

I have great memories of this song, and this is the first time I could hear all the words!

I love how you have the “Disinterested Bass Player” look down pat. Great cover!

Love the fact it was sung in a Scottish accent (pronounced Scauttish). Proof positive you can’t sing that song without adopting the Scots brogue. Superb version!

Had such a totally crummy day it's hard to describe. This was a perfect antidote for four whole minutes and one second. Thanks so much for that. Keep on, please.

As a Scot, I didn’t think that this song left the country. This is a very surreal experience

Pretty decent Scottish accent Anne, very well done. If you do another Proclaimers song then I recommend Letter From America

You always manage to transform songs into diamonds while stil maintaining a very down to earth style. I'd love to visit an acoustic concert or something of yours.
