IL-2 Great Battles: IL-2 'Flying Tank' - Evasive maneuvers!?

RTB after a successful mission attacking enemy tanks in your IL-2 Sturmovik 1941 "Flying Tank", you find yourself face-to-face with four Ju-87 Stukas also returning to their base together with their escorts. There is no time to think! You need to focus on your training and perform a series of clever evasive maneuvers in order to survive.... or you can just fly straight. =P
This mission was recorded at Combat BoX multiplayer server during the Friday Night Flights event. This server doesn't allow for any external or third-person view, all the flying is done from the first-person, and the external views were added after the fact (for epic and cinematic purposes) using the in-game track recording.▼

My Grand-Grandfather wrote about the Il2 in his war diary. He said that the Russian would attack in swarms of 20-50 Il 2 covered by 20 Yaks or Las and when the Germans would attack them they would have an hard time destroying more than 4 or 5 of the il 2 as they would eat an absurd amount of ammunition. He also wrote that only the Late F and the G series of Bf 110 Would be able to effectively destroy il 2 because of the 30mm but would have an hard time getting Past the Escorts

Pra quem não estava vendo até que pouso bem, este avião dá pouca visão ao piloto sobre o posicionamento dos inimigos que estão atrás, mas compensa em muito em residência e blindagem, parabéns pelo vídeo muito bom.

Apparently pilots were told to fly straight and level when being attacked, allow the armour to do it's job. Sounds like suicide to me. I'd be barrel rolling .. and installing a rear-facing MG and periscope.

Hi again mate. I have still not been able to get the guncam view on IL2 Cliffs of Dover. Do you know if there is a way I can make a new setting? The external view does work but I then cannot get back to cockpit view.
