I used to send and after I visited Kenya in four years I was disappointed. Some of my family members had become very bure alcoholics because they had an easy monthly supply of dollars.

I lost many friends and family because of money, But i thank God their quietness makes me rich . They always call when they got a problems . Since i leaned my lessons i don't tolerate nonsense. Better be alot than being with fake people in my life .

When you come to Europe or USA from africa you become a thing that they can use and not a human being because when you stop sending them money then they stop calling you, just like we all stop using a vacuum cleaner that does not work 😢

I was scammed by my Kenyan brothers and as a single mother in Canada, I started doing three jobs just to “help” because, one time, they are lying mom is sick, dad is sick, and they turn off their phones…learnt the hard way. That is it, they will never ever see my dollar again. They have also scammed me my inheritance…they will remain poor forever. I am super upset the people I trusted betrayed me, scammed me, lied to me and have no slightest shame…I can go on all day. Asante sana for this video ❤

& The Worse thing most are still stuck on that poverty line because they can’t forward think of how to invest that Money.

Matter of fact when you call to say jambo, the first thing out of their mouths is huku ni mashida na stress tu, and then you get a laundry list of the mashida. Hallo mein Bruder! I totally agree with you. I feel people back at home need to manage their expectations and understand the diff dynamics at play for family or friends working abroad such as cost of living in Deustchland, employment opportunities, social dynamics etc etc . Would be good to see accountability and appreciation for funds sent back home. People should style up.
