I honestly love the Quest 2. It's the first headset that sold me on the experience of VR. The wireless experience goes a long way.

A portable power bank is probably also the important one if you don't like being hooked up to a cable all the time. Some power banks are designed for Quest specifically, or you can buy a strap on Amazon that can attach any power bank to your quest.

Or just stick with the original band (not so bad after all) and for a better sound just couple your Bluetooth headphones. Quest 2 will still be great and you will have saved some money to buy the next Meta VR device coming soon.

The Quest 2 is a brilliant gateway to VR. Oculus really knocked it out of the park with a near perfect balance of features, convenience, content and price.
I had no intention of getting into VR but was able to score a Quest 2 for a really good price last year so I figured why not. I can say that it's definitely worth the full retail price.

If you want the best headstrap for the quest 2 just get the Bobo VR M2 pro you won't regret it

I had a quest 2 last year for about a week and then I returned it. It was impressive at first but needs a lot of improvement. Needs a much bigger fov and a much sharper screen. I will try out the pro or the quest 3 when they come out.

I would highly recommend the BoboVR Pro headstrap system over either of the elite straps from Meta. The halo style strap is far more comfortable and it features an interchangeable external battery system, both of which allow you to play for longer stretches!

Meta have already confirmed that they are going to be making a new version of the quest 2 with a focus on augmented reality. It’s pretty much the same quest but the pass through mode will be higher quality and with color. They also confirmed that they will be making Ar games for the quest.

Don’t get the elite strap. Get the Bobo VR head strap with hot-swappable batteries. It is more comfortable than the elite strap, and if you don’t mind spending extra for a second battery, you can literally play forever. The only downside is the cost

Aubika is a better Strap than the Elite Strap, easy to disassemble, no breaking and cheaper too.
