4 Coding Tips Nobody Tells You ⬇️
1️⃣ Embrace not knowing everything, bro you’re not a coding machine. You’re a problem solver. Something I see many beginner coders as well as myself struggle with is thinking they need to know everything before they start working on their own personal projects. The field of tech is evolving every single day. you’re a mad if you think you are supposed to memorize every bit of syntax.
2️⃣It’s okay to use Chat got to improve your coding logic. Here is an example prompt that you can use to ask chat got to help you understand what’s going on in your code or the code you’re reading. “Hey ChatGPT Please explain this code line by line in great detail for a beginner coder, also provide necessary “//“ so I can better understand it myself.”3️⃣If you’ve made hit this far drop a follow I help you not only become a better coder but I also help coders monetize their skills. Moving on to number 3 this one is very big and it’s what’s going to separate you from the crowd. And it’s practice regularly, consistent practice is better than no practice try coding just 18-20 minutes a day every day or a few times a week and watch your skills sky rocket.
4️⃣This one is short but very important, to truly become a better programmer it’s a mental hill. You need to be able to understand you’ve had enough practice. And you’re capable of putting those skills to test. To truly get better you need to just jump into the deep end. the only way you get better @ swimming is by swimming. And that same thing goes with coding. Jump in and struggle. Because it’s part of character development
Ps: 89/100 days of programming, this is a coding challenge I gave myself to hold myself accountable to my coding bootcamp goals, as well as maintain coding motivation to keep growing
