Rob how come i’m taller if I measure with like a shoe box or simply anything longer (that’s also flat) than a spray bottle like the one you use. Does head size become a factor at that point ?

Hi rob how accurate do you think this self measuring method is: 1. Measure the height of a flat doorway (flat doorway & flat ground) and record that height. 2. Stand under the doorway (with correct posture) with the top of your head in-line with the back edge of the doorway. 3. Hold a tape measure from the back edge of the doorway and extend it until it touches the top of your head. Try to keep the tape angled as straight as possible. 4. Hold the tape still on the doorway so it doesn’t wind in or out and step back. 5. Record the measurement where the tape meets the edge of the doorway and subtract it from the overall height of the doorway. For example: My doorway is 199.3cm, the measurement from my head to the doorway is 12.5cm, 199.3 - 12.5 = 186.8cm. I think it’s a pretty accurate method as long as you can keep the tape straight and not angled. Would you agree?

when I was measured with the stand I found out I'm inbetween 180 and 181cm, I thought I was 173... explains why i never felt that short lol

rob would u be able to notice a half inch difference between one who's a flat 6'2 and one who's 6'1.5 or is it barely noticable

i use to meausre myself on the carpet and i was 5'7 (170.5cm) now i measured on hard floor and now 5'8 (173cm) ty so much rob

Question, when i measure my height, am i allowed to stretch my spine and body as high as possible, because it feels a bit unnatural, but idk, so i am asking. Thanks in advance. edit: because when i stretch it adds 1 whole centimeter to my height.

Why is it bad to measure on carpet? Is it because your feet sink into the ground a little?

Best way is to stand in from of mirror straight and correct posture and if you have low or short hair you can lowe them cause hair just invlides around a 2 cm if you want more presise wet hair with comb most precise

Hi Rob, in my case I'm 1.90 when I just get out of bed, but at night I'm 188.3 or 1.88. Of course with shoes I am always 6 foot 3 (1.91). So if the difference is 2 cm during the day, do you consider it appropriate to state that the average, 189.2, would be the correct height? I think the same thing happens to me as Tom Welling, Idris Elba and Ashton Kutcher.
