Watch this discussion with Archon Fung and Khalil Gibran Muhammad on this pressing issue and ways forward in these tumultuous times.

In 1965, the United States first achieved its vision for a multiracial democracy, but today that ideal of an inclusive America is under attack. White nationalism, white displacement theory, and voter suppression aimed squarely at disenfranchising BIPOC communities, is shaping electoral outcomes across the nation. Without a more robust commitment to upholding and protecting multiracial democracy, we will not be able to solve the severe regression in American politics that affects everything from economic inequality to reproductive rights to climate justice.
