I agree. Rosalina is the best in Super Smash Bros Wii U. She is my most favorite Mario character.

As a long time Rosalina main, this is the best thing I've heard.

BUT she's -

1) Really hard to play

2) Has an awful disadvantaged state - without luma she flat out sucks, gets edgeguarded for days, dies super early and is huge. Yeah, she's safe and has an amazing neutral. But she gets roughed up so much on the tiniest of mistakes which in large part helps balance her out.

3) Has few results at super high level outside of Dabuz. I know there's a few like Fallen, Xaltis and Abadango's pocket but...seriously, without Dabuz would anyone even be considering this character top 5? All of her notable finishing at major tournaments are from one guy. And he's even using Olimar half the time now. Would he be doing that if Rosa's MU spread was that good?

I don't see her being #1. Just one guy's opinion.

Not to mention that luma neutralizes a lot of follow-ups because the rosa can hammer nair after a hit or throw and you have to sit in shield to avoid taking damage

I, for one, would like to hear your expanded thoughts on how Sonic is close to Rosalina. I character bounced for awhile after dropping my original main (RIP Yoshi) and came to Sonic who I played heavily in Brawl and picked him up for Sm4sh. You said in your finale tier list vid that the three different sonic mains all play the character completely differently and I think also have a similar MU spread for Sonic. Do you have any thoughts on how Sonic seems to be successfully played as three different styles?

Rosalina main here bruh. In my opinion, to play Rosalina well, don't overthink her. Just use her like any normal fighter that doesn't have a Luma. Don't seperate from the Luma, and use grabs and air attacks a lot. The Luma seriously enhances Rosalina's attack strength and knockback for smash attacks too. And side b helps with stopping opponent's smash attacks if you're fast enough. And Meta Knight isn't a problem if you follow these instructions
