5:30, makes sense for an ev car to give you huge range in India, the streets are narrow, congested and in you are lucky the fastest you can go in 50mph, normally is 30mph, at that speed you battery will give you higher range as you see on your comparison numbers. @metrotrujillo left this comment, I had to re-load the video due to audio issue (thank you)

At 2:30, Why no shoes? Generally speaking, most Indians take their shoes off while stepping inside homes as a mark of respect and as a respite from heat. The shot in question looks like a pair of LG technicians installing an AC fan on the roof of a residential building. The electrical connection is not set up yet, so it makes perfect sense for them to not wear shoes. Again, I am making a vast generalisation here. The fact that a western observer finds the lack of footwear weird is humorous to us at the very least.

Your logic makes sense.. KIA would end up becoming the largest seller of EVs in India as that made a strong beginning here with seltos

Very good video sir. Straight to point, with all the key facts. I could say things looking bright for the Indian Market, however, when People keep saying this range evaluation cycle is generous and not accurate, & only EPA is, does not take into account the different environments of those countries, where the citizens have different conditions from North America. North America tends to want to force their way of doing things onto everybody else, not acknowledging that there are non similar factors, in many cases aplenty, in other countries from North America, in which are major determining factors for their Range calculation cycle. So while NAs like to think it is generous from those countries creating their estimates, they(North American Experts) don't live in those countries day to day, making it disingenuous to dismiss what the Engineers and Experts in those countries considered in their calculations of Range that suits their fellow citizens everyday living conditions, the same way North American Experts won't like any outsider telling them what methodology & systems of how they should go about calculating theirs. Very selfish of them. Much respect for your sir.

Kia is destined to win in the Indian middle-class EV market. The EV6 is already a winner in USA. The low cost Tesla would be too little too late, and it would be mostly a vanity purchase by the rich kids.

Do not discount Hydrogen powered hybrids, Nitin Gadkari ji has been on alternative fuels from 2009. He has said by 2028 there will be the same hydrogen infrastructure as there is for EV's today. Indian Oil, Adani, Reliance & L&T all of them are investing in biofuels & renewals big time. 😊

India needs BYD not tesla. Blocking BYD in the name of national security is foolish. It will be disastrous for EVs in india.

Sadly, India is too corrupted from top to individuals that most of it's future promises sound like another scam and that is very unfortunate because india has a lot of potentials but it will never have the discipline that China has.
