Lei, China's actions against Taiwan seem comparable to the Cuban missile crisis. Russia faced enormous domestic challenges, as did Krushchev, who bit off more than he could chew in trying to "reform" Communism when his Communist adversaries liked the life too much to give it up. What to do? Challenge America to solidify internal control and establish a fresh narrative.

Are you a one-woman show? I am always interested how people get their inspirations. My mom for years as an Okinawan told me "Never be unkind to mainland Chinese. Particularly middle class and the poorer people. As they went through a particular kind of hell you can't imagine. Go ask your grandparents about WW2. You will learn fast." Okinawans are a bit different than Japanese. We like Taiwan and anyone for fundamental human rights and more freedom. Freedom is dangerous but its even more dangerous to give it up. We need to remember and never think it can't happen here in the US. I been here since 2011. I'm a naturalized citizen.
