Seeing Hayden back makes me so happy! You can really tell he's watched The Clone Wars and added Matt Lanter's influence to his performance.

I'm so glad he knows he's loved after all this time.

"One is never too old to learn, snips". He was 45 when he died. Ahsoka is 47.

To me, the lesson he was teaching her was the difference between surviving and living. It was the last lesson he learned, from Luke, when he was her age.

From the moment he betrayed Ahsoka, she's been surviving, and her purpose, her conviction, gone. She's got no friends, family or companions around her, no attachment, just as a Jedi should be. But Ahsoka is no Jedi, and like Anakin said he's now passed on the final lesson he learned to her, even what he learned in his final moments.

And then as he's smiling and remembering about his last lesson by Luke, she says, "I won't fight you" and he chuckles, because that's also what Luke said to him before that last fight. When his heart was full of rage and darkness that fight is what brought him back. So he turns on his lightsaber, and gets ready to pass that on to her.

You live, truly live, or you die just like he did when he became Vader. Just surviving is as good as death.

Your eyes did not deceive you, Ahsoka's eye color did change to red there! Whether they changed due to the dark side or just the reflection of the red lightsaber in front of her eyes is up for interpretation. 🤔

The actress for young ahsoka did such a great job, not just with the voice and mannerisms but with the lightsaber action as well. Would really like to see her back again if they decide to do a live action clone wars.

When he says "is that what this is about?" He's not downplaying the things he's done, he's disappointed that Ahsoka has lost he way and is in this funk because of what she thinks is the problem, and his lesson isn't getting through to her. As you see after that, once she understands the lesson and chooses to live and move past everything and become Ahsoka the White, he smiles and says "there's hope for you yet."

The whales aren't just going in some random direction. The map was following their migration path between galaxies, so they should end up at the same spot. The big hyperspace ring might get there faster, though. I have no idea if the purgills can match speeds with that specialised craft.

This episode was so good! It really put into perspective just how young Ahsoka was in clone wars. She was a literal child soldier. AND not only did she go toe to toe with Maul but she won too! It's crazy!

Seeing clone wars in live action really puts into perspective how young Ahsoka was during all of it. Even though the show said she was 14, it hits different actually seeing how young she was in the middle of a war

11:18 At first, I saw this as a power move by Anakin. On rewatches, I recognize this is him showing Ahsoka how to disarm someone, which she uses against him a few minutes later. Just great stuff.

Thank you Hayden for another phenomenal performance as Anakin. He will always be my favorite character. Love the lesson he taught Ashoka. Seeing the chosen one at his true potential was amazing. His control from light to dark back to light was chefs kiss perfect. And for those wondering, Anakin and Ashoka weren't fighting. Ashoka didn't defeat Anakin. It was a lesson. Master and apprentice. The lesson was to live on and fight, and continue the legacy of masters she comes from. Stop being hung up on Anakin becoming Vader. Remember the good. Don't get hung up on what you can not control. The guilt Ashoka felt from Anakins fall to the darkside was holding her back. So he let her beat that demon in her. She destroyed the memory of Vader. Great job by Dave understanding these characters. And best wishes to your family Holden.

Hoping you and the family are all better now, never stress on content delays, the health of your family is far more important. In terms of what Anakin was I also agree with Holden that it was his spirit. Some theories suggest that he could actually be taking the place of the Father from the Mortis arc as he is the 'balance' in the force. I think it would be a neat payoff aswell as he still can be the chosen one, just in a different way
