The first Transformers movie is REALLY solid, especially the effects. ILM and the other studios did a fantastic job with the first one... As the films go on, they still look pretty good, but by the time the fourth one comes around, you can tell Bay was getting REAL lazy with his film making. Don't worry, it goes downhill from here!
The hardcore fans I've known all my life like these movies, but boy... If you don't have that tolerance, this is NOT for you, and a super fan who's a fan of the toys, shows, comics and games, you would LOATHE these movies.
The Blonde is played by Rachel Taylor, who plays Trish Walker in Jessica Jones.

The Optimus Prime transformation had thousands of individually rendered moving parts, all working in concert. It took a massive team months to create that one transformation

If you and Jen are at all interested, find the clip where Peter Cullen drew his inspiration for Optimus Prime. It's a nice little heartwarming story imo.

Fun fact that Volkswagen is actually a nod to the original series Bumblebee original form plus as you will see in Bumblebee, he transform into the Volkswagen, and Blackout first transformation scene you can hear the classic transformation sound effect

Funny story Holden. They shot some of this in Detroit where I live. My job was around the corner from one of the sets and one day I was headed to work with my headphones on. I look up and see this guy yelling something at me so I take my headphones out, and there’s just a guy yelling “GET THE FUCK OUT THE SHOT!…YOU’RE WALKING RIGHT THROUGH MY SHOT ” 😂
