I’ve been going through his rigging and animation courses and the rigging one has been especially helpful. All this stuff is slow to make but it’s satisfying when you see it looking fluid. That being said, I’ve been using Cascadeur the last couple weeks and I don’t think I’m coming back to regular Blender for character animation. I can’t imagine going back actually.

I was going crazy why my motion paths didn't appear: I was not aware that armatures had their own motions paths. I kinda whish that blender renames these two option to literally "Object motion paths" and "armature motion paths" 😅

Thanks for the help 🦾

Can you edit the motion path /trail with blender 3.6. There once was a editable motion trail by bart crouch.

Does anyone know if it's possible to render out the motion path in blender?

Sadly, Blender motion paths miss the point of why motion paths are useful. Their purpose should be to have the ability to edit the motion path itself in viewport and have it affect animation, basically animating with the curve inside the viewport, for example something that Unreal Engine can already do in their new animation system. This current way the motion paths are just a visual reference, which is useful, but it doesn't utilize the true power of motion paths at all.
