OLD vs NEW curly wavy hair routine!

What have you learned from your hair routine through time? 🤗 Here’s my OLD hair routine vs NOW & some things I learned! 🫶🏼
▪️ I was using wayyy too much product
BEFORE: 4-5 products and probs double the amount of what I’m using now
NOW: mostly 2-3 products and mostly lightweight consistency ones
▪️ Volume Definition
BEFORE: Brush coil & finger coil face framing pieces
NOW: Just rake & scrunch, brush style top part away from face for volume, sometimes finger coil face framing pieces
▪️ Shorten routine as much as possible. Be more practical & realistic with my hair. I stopped trying to achieve ‘perfect’ waves & curls all the time. I don’t mind some frizz for volume. And I also leave my hair naked - no styling products sometimes 💗
➡️ Routine & product details:
- Rake & scrunch @kerastase_official curl manifesto cream and @curlsmith_official shape up aqua gel
- Brush style top section with @tangleteezer
- Sprayed some protectant from @myceremonia (forgot to include this in the vid!)
- Microplop with @aquishair microfiber towel 5-10mins after styling
- Diffused with @dysonhair
- Finished with @kerastase_official elixir ultime hair oil
