How to Change YouTube Username on Android and iOS

Learn how to change your YouTube username using your iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, or Android smart phone or tablet. We'll give you all the info you need, and walk you through the steps for both Android and iOS devices.

Things to Keep in Mind:
- You can only change your YouTube name 3 times every 90 days.
- Changing your YouTube username will change the name that appears when you comment on videos, as well as the name of your channel.

To change your YouTube name on Android:
Launch the YouTube Android app. Tap your profile icon in the top right. Select My Channel. Tap Settings. Beside your name, tap Edit. Erase your current channel name, then type in what you want to change it to. Tap OK to save your changes.

To change your YouTube name on iOS:
Open the YouTube app for iOS. Tap your profile icon. Tap My Channel, then tap the settings icon on the right. Tap the Edit icon. Change your username to whatever you want it to be. To save your changes, tap the check mark in the top right.
