How to change Youtube handle name - on pc 2024 (@username)

Go to youtube studio
Click on "customization"
click on "basic info"
Click in the editbox under the heading "handle".
Change your handle to whatever you like
click on publish

Thanks! I miss the days when Google's interface designers were good enough at their jobs that the single most basic thing you'd want to do with your account wasn't hidden in such an unintuitive place that finding it required the direction of third party tutorial videos.

Why the hell would they think anyone would look in "YouTube Studio" for this, rather than "settings", or "manage your account"?
