Native American and this song is so beautiful! Respect for Mother Earth in such a beautiful song so very meaningful! A white buffalo calf was born recently that has great significance to the Native Americans. One of the respected medicine men states that Mother Earth has a fever and she needs to be taken care of! I love all of the Hu Band’s songs but this one for sure is my favorite!! One that touches my heart and soul! So awesome to get to know the Hu Band through their music and to see how much pride they have in their traditions and culture that reflects in the great music that they keep producing! Is it just me or does every song be these guys just seem to tap into some sort of ancient memory within you? It's like I can almost see or hear echoes from times long gone and feel the connection between then and now.
I wish I could describe it better. There are bands that get me amped up and bands that get me moody, even some that make me happy. The HU are one of the very few that make me feel all of that AND make me reflective at the same time. You (or at least I can) feel the weight of the ages, like this has happened before and will again. They seem to have listened and learned the lessons hope that I can as well.
