Music doesn't get any better than this. These were beautiful, classy, talented ladies. Their music was awesome, and Ronnie Specter was great.

Ronnie sang this as a back up in Eddy Moneyโ€™s โ€œTake Me Home Tonightโ€. She makes the song!

Ronnie had one of the most distinctive voices. Her voice could sound tough then tender and always had the trademark vibrato sound in there. Been less than a month since Ronnie passed but it's her voice that will remain in the memories of many. RIP Ronnie Spector โค๏ธ

Brian Wilson of the Beach Boys called this "the perfect pop song". The girls from Spanish Harlem!!! Ronnie Spector on lead vocal, RIP.

Veronica "Ronnie" Bennett (August 10, 1943 โ€“ January 12, 2022) was known professionally as Ronnie Spector. She was the lead singer of the girl group the Ronettes (aka, Ronnie & the Ronettes) with her sister, Estelle Bennett, and their cousin, Nedra Talley.

They were eventually signed to Phil Spector's Philles label and he produced the majority of their recordings. They had a string of hits in the 1960s.

In 1980, she released her debut solo album and her career revived when she was featured on Eddie Money's song "Take Me Home Tonight" in 1986 (you can easily hear Ronnie singing "Be my little baby" in that song).

Some of the Ronettes other big hits include: "Baby, I Love You"; "(The Best Part of) Breakin' Up"; "Do I Love You?"; "Walking in the Rain"; "I Can Hear Music"; "You Came, You Saw, You Conquered".

This is another one of the fabulous girl groups from the early 60's. Phil Spector produced this group. He later married the lead singer Ronnie. They had some great hits including "Be My Baby", "Baby, I Love You", "(The Best Part of) Breakin' Up" & "Walking In The Rain". Sadly we just lost Ronnie but she left a great legacy of her music.

I love the Ronnettes. They were one of my favorite girls groups of the 60's. I was 15 when they came out with this hit!

The lead is Ronnie Spector, who passed away just two weeks ago. Such an amazing song and group!

Loving that a new generation is discovering the greatest girl group of all time and the sassiest lead singer the world has ever known. I have loved The Ronettes since I was a boy in 1964 and that love has only grown stronger as I approach old age. I truly envy people hearing these classics for the first time. Great job guys.

What a Class Act these Ladies were loved listening to them when I was growing up. When I was in high school early 1960's we had NOON Dances Everyday and when Ronnie came up on the record player all the girls would line dance to this tune brings back some very good memories

I believe this was 1963. probably the best song on the radio. Beatles were still unknown & unheard, but this was clearly as good or better than what they had that year.

Back in the early 60's these girls toured the UK and their support group was the Rolling Stones. This may be the best pop song of all time.

This is almost 60 years ago but even when you watch this video now, The Ronettes feel like the center of the fuckin world. They shine like gold

Got the thrilling pleasure of seeing Ronnie Specter perform live in 1975 or 76 at one of the Cleveland World Series of Rock concerts. Most of us were there for Todd Rundgren's Utopia or the heavier rock sounds of Nazareth and Aerosmith. But Aerosmith cancelled at the last minute and the legendary WMMS d.j., Kid Leo, introduced us to Southside Johnny and the Asbury Jukes in their place, who brought Ronnie because of a summer hit song. It was a total surprise that launched me (15 yrs old) and another, older guy behind me to our feet when they announced her. My mom had been a big fan of the "girl groups" like the Ronettes, the Crystals, the Shangri-las, so I was pretty much raised on those 45s spinning on the home record player. She was just stupendous and won the hearts of a lot of head-banging rockers.

Ronnie was classic girl band voice so original. The Robertโ€™s were quintessential early 60โ€™s So honest and pure pop.

Guys this is one of my favourite songs of all time. You have hears it if you watched the movie dirty dancing with the late Patrick suwayze ( not sure I split his last name right lol ), it was a classic film . Ronnie Spector & her ronnets was so big back in the day they were brilliant their music still brings joy today in 2022. Ladies were ladies & men were men back then ๐Ÿ˜ƒโค๏ธ๐ŸŒทโš˜๏ธ
