It’s just sometimes, we convince ourselves that this person is not lying to us. Our conscious mind reasons out with us and we don’t trust our instinct. During a conversation, take note of how they react to simple questions like where are they from, how old, what they had for lunch. Basic stuff. Observe their tone of voice, how much they blink, do they hold eye contact, do they fidget. Those reactions when their answering and telling simple truths will be your basis. Any deviation from this behavior can be a clue to when they are actually lying. In a simple way, observe and do not listen when looking for a liar.
