I've noticed this also happens day trading on indices, the NY pm session - if price already hits the HTF PD Array daily target in the am session/early during the pm session, there is normally a reversal into a 15m/1h HTF PD Array, which in turn is the wick low in a bullish day or wick high in a bearish day. Basically what you've just explained but with the daily candle rather than the weekly
